In 2016 Geringer Capital teamed with International Stone and Tile Maker Walker Zanger on a build-to-suit for their corporate office and warehouse facility in North Hills, CA. Just over 130,000 square feet, the building is concrete tilt-up on a poured concrete slab and features 32 foot ceilings in the warehouse along with 3 dock high doors and 6 drive in doors. The construction is featured in San Fernando Business Journal in the article Stone Cold Elegance.
The Munchkin building sits on a 20 acre parcel of land in North Hills, CA that was originally purchased as a distressed property in 1995. Geringer Capital purchased the first lien mortgage and foreclosed into title ownership. The building now sits where the old LA Times building used to be.
The project was privately financed for construction, in addition to the capital resources available to Geringer Capital.
